Taipei Film Commission's 14th Annual "Filming Taipei" Screenplay Competition is Open for Entries! - Taipei Film Commission
This competition aims to encourage talented screenwriters to create outstanding screenplays incorporating Taipei City people, stories, history, or places. The Taipei Film Commission’s professional network provides opportunities for the production of cinematic scripts, thereby inspiring more film productions that capture Taipei City’s charms.

There are no thematic restrictions on works submitted for this year’s competition. Anyone interested in screenwriting is invited to dream up an original Taipei story to go beyond limitations and make connections between Taipei’s past and future. Different techniques and methods can be used to present images of Taipei and we welcome storytellers to break through traditional genre limitations and gain inspiration from the city to create a story as unique as Taipei.

Entries are accepted from screenwriters of all nationalities, but the screenplay must be written in Traditional Chinese. If the original screenplay is written in any language other than Chinese, a Traditional Chinese translation must be submitted.

We are looking for talented emerging screenwriters, and we want to read your script! The first prize winner will receive NT$400,000 in cash.
Submissions are accepted between Apr 14, 2022 and May 31, 2022.
